Navigating the Global Events Module

The Global Events module enables the viewing and/or adding of global events. A global event is a set of processes, similar to a routine, which is associated to a timer, to be used at project level and not just within a program.

 

 

Access a shortcut menu by right-clicking the "Global Event's" empty area.

This menu is used to:

 

Add a global event. See To Add a Global Event.

Import a global event into your current project from Library. See To Import a Global Event.

 

Access the following right-click menu by clicking a global event included in the "Global Events" module:

 

Edit

Opens the selected global event's properties window so you can edit it. See To Edit a Global Event.

Duplicate Global Event

Duplicates the selected global event. The duplicate has the same name as the original global event with an incremented number.

Delete

Deletes the selected global event. See Delete a Global Event.

Event

Opens the selected global event's "Event" tab directly.

Library

Provides access to the "Export Global Event" option:

 

a. Right-click the global event you want to export.

b. In the resulting menu, select "Export Global Event".

c. Proceed with the export to Library of the selected global event. See To Export a Global Event.

Search

Opens a "Search" window you can use to view the selected global event's occurrences within the project. See Detail of Search.
