Working with Write to Ini File Process
Process Purpose
The INI file is a key/value text file typically used for configuration and parameter setting in applications.
The Write to Ini File process is used to enter data such as key/value pairs into an INI file that is installed in the target device.
Example of an INI File (with 2 sections)
[GLOBAL]
host=SERVER_ABC
port=8088
[BUSINESS]
location=Lisbon
name=The Priceless Shop
contact=00351 951 887 499
If the purpose is to write several sections into the INI file, use a Write to Ini File process for each section to be added.
When you add a process, you are required to define its settings. This occurs in the process's properties window which is displayed automatically after having added the Write to Ini File process.
If any subsequent edition is required, double-click the process to open its properties window and enter the necessary modifications.
