Overview

 

The "Metrics" service is an MCL-Mobility Platform service designed to feed metric info retrieved from external back-end systems into the counters you defined in your MCL-Mobility Platform account (see Counters).

This service can be an alternative to the data collection carried out by the operation of the devices.

 

 

Usage

 

To use this service, the external back-end must consume a REST API.

Be aware that you must have a compatible back-end profile within your MCL-Mobility Platform account (= a back-end profile that includes the "Metrics" service and is associated to the intended site or to all the sites, as required) so it can be applied to your back-end requests.
