Archiving a Configuration
Overview
Configurations that were created at site level can be archived within the sites they were created in. Configurations created at account level can ONLY be archived at account level unless they have been restricted to a site - the targeted site will also be able to archive that configuration.
Operationally speaking, archiving allows you to clear old configurations and all their versions no longer in use.
This action can be performed in the "Configurations" page and in the details page of the configuration you want to archive.
To Archive a Configuration in the "Configurations" Page
This option allows you to archive more than one configuration at a time.
Step-by-step
1. In the Site Dashboard's "Control Panel" section, click to access the
sub-module.
2. Click and open the "Configurations" page.
2. Select the configuration(s) to archive by checking the corresponding .
3. Click .
4. Click to conclude the operation.
If you are unable to conclude, due to an error message, check Possible Error Message(s) below.
To Archive a Configuration in its "Configuration Details" Page
Step-by-step
1. In the Site Dashboard's "Control Panel" section, click and, then,

Check
to ensure the viewing of all configuration versions and not just the latest version of each configuration.
2. Click the name of the configuration you want to archive (displayed in light blue).
4. Click to conclude the operation.
If you are unable to conclude, due to an error message, check Possible Error Message(s) below.
Possible Error Message(s)
Occurrence: When clicking .
Cause: The configuration to be archived is included in a deployment or assigned to a device group.
Action: No action. It is NOT possible to archived a configuration that is already archived.
