Deleting an Application

Overview

 

Applications can be deleted, but only if the application has not been used in a configuration and/or deployment.

 

Step-by-step

1. In the Admin Dashboard's "Control Panel", click Applications button and, in the resulting row, select Applications Sub Module Button to open the "Applications" page.

TIPCheck the Show all Versions box option if you want to view all application versions. If left unchecked, you only view the latest version of each application.

 

2. Select the application(s)/application version(s) you want to delete by checking the corresponding Check box. Use the Button Select all 3 option to select all displayed items.

3. Click Delete Header Button.

4. Conclude by clicking Confirm button.

If an error message appears, check Possible Error Message(s) below to know how to proceed.

 

 

Possible Error Message(s)

 

Error message_Application cannot be deleted

 

Occurrence: When clicking Confirm button.

Cause: The application to be deleted is included in a configuration/deployment.

Action: No action. It is NOT possible to delete an application that is already associated to a configuration or deployment. The "delete" operation is, therefore, canceled.
