Password Reset

Overview

 

If necessary, an account administrator/site manager can force the reset of a platform user's current password, for security reasons. In that case, the password is, automatically, deactivated, the user's status changes to "Pending Password Reset" and that user receives an email with a link to set up a new password. The user will only be able to log in to the MCL-Mobility Platform account/site after he has defined a new password. See Forced Password Reset.

 

The platform user can also reset his own password (ex: if he forgets his password). In this case, the password will not be deactivated until the user defines a new password. See User Triggered Password Reset.
