Working with Execute Script Process

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Process Purpose

The Execute Script process is used to send a request to the host for the execution of a script with optional arguments. Script files have the extension ".cmd". The Run Script command does not wait for any completion status from the host. It is the responsibility of the application to check whether the command is executed correctly or not.

When you add a process, you are required to define its settings. This occurs in the process's properties window which is displayed automatically after having added the Execute Script process.

If any subsequent edition is required, double-click the process to open its properties window and enter the necessary modifications.
