Overview
Once an MCL (perpetual) license is acquired, it must be registered in an MCL-License Manager account.
When you purchase an MCL license for the first time, you MUST create an MCL-License Manager account - see Create an MCL-License Manager Account.
Since the account creation wizard automatically progresses to the license registration, you can proceed with the license registration at the same time.
Once you have an account, you can decide to register all future license(s) in the same MCL-License Manager account (log in to your account and register you license(s)) OR create a different account for specific licenses (choose to create a new account in the platform's login page instead of logging in).
For instance, if your organization consists of a mother company with several subsidiaries, you can create an account per subsidiary company and register the MCL licenses attributed to a subsidiary in its own MCL-License Manager account.
When you register a license in MCL-License Manager, you are registering a company as the owner of the license.
We recommend that each end-user company have its own MCL-License Manager account.
Once the license is registered to an account, it CANNOT be moved into another account.
Follow the step-by-step that best suits your organization/your current situation:
Register your License in a Newly Created MCL-License Manager Account (expand the content below).
Register your License in an existing MCL-License Manager Account)
Before proceeding with the license registration, make sure your PC is connected to the Internet so you can contact your MCL-License Manager account.
This license registration is preceded by the creation of a new MCL-License Manager account, meaning, the page below opens at the end of the Account Creation operation. See Create an MCL-License Manager Account.

If you just registered an MCL-Client license, you can now attribute the available license unit(s), included in the license, to your device(s). You can do this via your MCL-License Manager account (see Activate an MCL-Client License Unit in a Device) OR you can use the free tool we provide to activate MCL (perpetual) licenses in devices - MCL-Loader. You can download it from our website and install it in your PC. Refer to the MCL-Loader User Guide for more details on this tool's uses.
If the registered license is an MCL-Net or MCL-Designer license, please refer to the corresponding user guide to proceed with the license activation:
