Overview

The "... Topic Details" page displays information concerning the selected topic (name, type/direction, available messages, etc.). It also allows you to create and send a message onto a specific topic (for instance, for testing purposes) or read the messages included in a topic.

The name of the page itself refers to the type/direction of the corresponding topic.

Ex: If the selected topic is meant to handle inbound messages (messages sent by the device to a topic for a back-end) the corresponding "...Topic Details" page is called "Mobile to Back-end Topic Details".

Use the Data Sync Button_Site button (in the Site Dashboard's "Control Panel") to access the "Messagebox" sub-module.

Site Control Panel_Data Sync Messagebox

Click Messagebox Button.

This acknowledgment can be "automatic", meaning, the "ack" is triggered once the message is read (default option) or this can be managed by the message receiver("Back-end" or "Device").

The tab displays the following information:

"Activity" tab

This tab contains a chart with the message flow within the current topic (how many messages/"ack" were received/sent and at what time) during the selected time window.

The "Activity" tab allows you to change the time interval for the data - click the intended time period ("60 min."; "24 hours"; "30 days") as well as change the chart type (column or line chart), even if the page is not in edit mode. The chart will refresh its type/displayed data accordingly.

Use the chart's caption to identify the received/sent messages and "acks" through color.
