Applications
Overview
The "Applications" sub-module relates to the uploading and viewing of applications.
In the MCL-Mobility Platform context, an application is a software tool that, once installed in a device, allows the operator to perform tasks such as an "Inventory" or a "Picking" operation.
To access the "Applications" sub-module, click , in the "Control Panel" section, and, in the resulting row, select

Applications added in a site are restricted to that site and CANNOT be shared by other sites in the account. If you want to make an application available to other sites, it must be added at account level.
Information regarding the applications can be displayed in a grid or a list view. By default, applications are displayed in a grid view but the view can be changed.

Qualification ensures that each entity can ONLY view/handle other entities that are compatible. The compatibility between each application qualification and other entities/qualifications is as follows: •"Production" applications are ONLY available for sites and configurations with a "Production" qualification. •"Acceptance" applications can be handled by "Acceptance" and "Production" qualified sites and configurations. •Applications with a "Test" qualification are accessible to sites and configurations with a "Test", "Acceptance" or "Production" qualification. •"Development" qualified applications are available to all sites and configurations, regardless of its qualification, unless they are restricted to a specific site.
An application's qualification can ONLY be edited by the account administrator, at account level.
